Code Of Conduct

GDSMUN is committed to fostering a productive, efficient, and respectful environment for all participants. As we revamp the Model UN experience, we aim to reintroduce the fundamental principles of Model UN—instilling a sense of responsibility and empowering young leaders to create positive change driven by empathy, compassion, understanding, and diplomacy.

We have often overlooked the unique opportunity MUN provides for delegates from diverse backgrounds to come together and appreciate cultural diversity. To address this, we are integrating the "Gentlemen's Code" into every aspect of our conference. This code is not just an abstract concept but a guiding vision that should inform the behavior of every delegate both inside and outside the committee.

The code emphasizes meeting new people with genuine enthusiasm, presenting arguments in an ambassadorial and dignified manner, and deriving the utmost enjoyment from the GDSMUN experience. By embodying the "Gentlemen's Code," we can achieve a true world model that accurately represents the United Nations.
